My story with technology didn’t start in a data center or on a whiteboard — it began with electronics. Early in my career, I worked in industries that were all about components, manufacturing equipment, wholesale, and retail. That hands-on experience with the building blocks of technology gave me an appreciation for how things really work — and for the people who make them work.

From there, my path took me deeper into business systems. I discovered that I had a knack for connecting the dots between technology and business, helping organisations see how complex challenges could be translated into measurable outcomes. Over the past 25+ years, I’ve built my career in the Microsoft ecosystem, moving from the technical trenches to leadership roles where I’ve guided teams, supported partners, and worked with executives on strategy that drives real impact.

I’ve been fortunate to work across a wide range of industries — from Manufacturing and Retail to Education (K–12), Life Sciences, and Non-Profit. What ties it all together is my belief that technology only matters if it serves people and solves real problems. That perspective has shaped how I approach leadership too: with empathy, respect, and a focus on building teams and solutions that last.

Driven by curiosity, I recently completed a Master of Data Science — not because I needed the letters after my name, but because I wanted to explore what more we could do with data. That journey deepened my understanding of analytics and AI, and reinforced my passion for using data to uncover insights and create meaningful impact.

Outside of work, I’m still that person who loves to tinker. I built my first computer years ago and have built many since. At home, I run my own server where I experiment with different technologies, including large language models. I spend weekends trying to bring old electronics back to life (sometimes with more success than others) and playing with 3D printing projects that combine creativity with problem-solving. It’s my way of staying close to the nuts and bolts of technology — the curiosity that got me started and still keeps me going today.

And the truth is — I’m still learning. Technology never stands still, and neither do I. The purpose of this blog is to share what I’ve learned so far, and what I’ll discover tomorrow. My hope is that by putting those lessons out there, others can learn with me, build on them, or even challenge them — because that’s how we all grow.

So, welcome to my blog. I’m glad you’re here. Let’s explore this ever-evolving world of technology together.
